About me

I am an accomplished senior leader with 25 years of experience at leading financial institutions. My role combines leadership of DTCC’s core market infrastructure and global trade processing capabilities, with delivery of strategic transformation initiatives that are shaping the future of clearing and settlement.

In my role at DTCC, I am responsible for the Depository Trust Company, the central securities depository that completes the transfer of securities and funds between trading counterparties, and the National Securities Clearing Corporation, which clears equity trades executed across major U.S. exchanges and other equity trading venues. I also lead the firm’s global middle‑office trade processing capabilities: TradeSuite ID®, CTM® and the ALERT® settlement instructions database, in addition to responsibility for delivering DTCC’s strategy to enable the tokenisation of assets held at DTC.

I have extensive experience leading global teams, defining and executing strategy, driving organisational change, and delivering complex, high‑impact transformation initiatives. My focus is on advancing new capabilities and solutions that deliver measurable client value, helping firms improve capital and settlement efficiency, reduce operating costs and mitigate risk, while meeting evolving market demands such as accelerated settlement (T+1) and extended trading hours (24x5).

Throughout my career, I have been closely involved with industry associations, building trusted partnerships and contributing to the development of market-wide strategy, operational standards and best practice. I have served on a number of boards and committees, including roles with SIFMA’s Operations & Technology Committee, LCH SwapClear Board and ISDA’s Market Infrastructure & Technology Committee.

In addition, I am Regional Administrative Manager for DTCC EMEA, Chairman of the DTCC EMEA Operating Committee, and a voting member of the DTCC ITP LLC Board.
