About me

Demi Derem, SVP Investor communications Solutions International leads Broadridge’s governance and investor communications business outside of North America. He is member of International Executive Leadership Committee and has been a board member of Investor Communications Japan since 2017, a joint venture with the Japan Stock Exchange.

Demi holds two university BSc honours degrees in Business Systems Modelling and Applied Accounting, he is also ACCA qualified. Starting his career as a graduate trainee at Barclays Capital in 1994, he has gone on to hold senior leadership positions in Gartmore (Hendersons), KPMG Consulting, Cofunds (founding member) and BNY Mellon, where he held various MD positions over a 10-year tenure in Asset Management, Corporate Strategy and Asset Servicing. He joined Broadridge in 2014 and since then has helped our International Communications Solutions grow organically, through acquisitions and new product development. Demi’s mandate since 2014 has included executive responsibility for global proxy, so intimately understands the business and associated client and market requirements.
