About me
Ignatius John was appointed Vice President of Product Management for NYFIX Matching at Broadridge in 2021. Previously, he was one of the key founders and the President of Alpha Omega Financial Systems from 2012 to 2021, which was acquired by Broadridge in 2021. Ignatius leads strategic and global enhancement of NYFIX Matching, an industry standard FIX-based post-trade matching and settlement system built from the buy-side perspective, with a vision to incorporate the next-generation technology into the product. Prior to these roles, Ignatius held various senior strategy positions spanning 22 years in multiple asset management firms, including AXA Rosenberg Investment Management (Global Head of Trading Strategy) and State Street Bank Capital Markets. Ignatius is recognized as a subject matter expert in T+1 and actively involves in educating the buy-side industry about the new settlement cycle, leveraging his extensive experience as a quantitative asset manager.
