About me

Harold Defays started his carreer in Fortis Bank Luxembourg in 1999, where he worked in Operations, participating in various projects. Just after the merger of Fortis Bank and General du Luxembourg, in 2001, he moved to the product development team.

In January 2004, Harold assumed responsibility for Securities Lending & Collateral Services and in 2006, he broadened his reponsibilities to the supervision of operations for Investment Funds.

In 2008, Harold joined the Clearstream, Global Securities Financing (GSF) department as Head of GSF Securities Lending Product Management in charge of both international and domestic GSF products.

In 2015, he became Head of Product for Clearstream Fund Services (CFS).

Harold has a Degree in Business Administration from the University of Liège, Belgium and a Masters Degree in Finance from HEC Liege, Belgium.
