About me
Emma Johnson is an experienced post trade professional having held a number of senior positions within product and operational teams in leading financial institutions over her 20+ year career in securities post-trade. In recent year's Emma's remit has been focused on European securities post trade market and regulatory advocacy, market infrastructure and industry developments which has seen her hold senior industry positions including co-chairing the ECB AMI-SeCo Securities Group (SEG), the AFME Transaction Clearing & Settlement Committee, the AFME Market Settlement Efficiency Taskforce, the AGC European Focus Committee and the ISSA Custody Risks Working Group.
A leading figure in the European T+1 agenda Emma co-leads the EU T+1 Industry Committee's Settlements Technical Workstream, co-leads the UK Accelerated Settlements Risk & Compliance Workstream and was the co-lead of the UK AST's US Lessons Learned workstream.
